Overview
Lake Nakuru is one of the few fenced parks in Kenya, which allows it to protect a significant rhino population that would otherwise be vulnerable to poaching. The lake's flamingo numbers vary with water levels from year to year, but the park's rhino sightings, along with resident lion and leopard, are reliably strong regardless.
