6-Day Mount Kenya Trekking Safari

6 Days Mount Kenya, Kenya Serengeti Wildlife Safari 5.0/5 from 9 reviews

Overview

A 6-day trek up Mount Kenya, Africa's second-highest peak, via the Sirimon-Chogoria route combination, passing through five distinct vegetation zones from forest to glacier.

Mount Kenya offers a genuinely different trekking experience from Kilimanjaro - a technical rock scramble is required to reach the true summit (Batian), though most trekkers aim for Point Lenana, the highest trekking point reachable without technical climbing. The route passes through forest, bamboo, moorland, alpine desert and glacial zones.
