Overview
Kabale serves as the gateway town to Bwindi, Mgahinga and the surrounding lakes, but its own Bakiga cultural heritage and the Mparo Tombs - burial site of a locally significant historic ruler - are often skipped entirely by travelers rushing to gorilla trekking.
