Overview
Elementaita is one of three lakes forming the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kenya Lake System, alongside Nakuru and Bogoria. Its shallow, alkaline waters support flamingo populations that have proven more consistent in recent years than Nakuru's, which has been affected by rising water levels.
