Overview

A cultural trip to Lake Eyasi to spend time with the Hadzabe, one of the last hunter-gatherer communities in Africa, joining an early morning traditional hunt with bow and arrow.

The Hadzabe have lived around Lake Eyasi for thousands of years, maintaining a hunter-gatherer lifestyle that has largely disappeared elsewhere on the continent. This itinerary includes joining a genuine early-morning hunting excursion led by Hadzabe guides, alongside a visit to the neighboring Datoga tribe known for traditional blacksmithing.
