Semuliki is ecologically unique in Uganda - it's the only park representing true lowland Congo Basin rainforest, supporting Central African wildlife and bird species not found in Uganda's other parks. Its boiling Sempaya hot springs, sacred to local communities, add a distinct natural feature to explore on foot.

Most travelers fly into Entebbe International Airport (EBB), roughly an hour from Entebbe, where the tour begins after a hotel pickup.
