Overview
Uganda's wild rhino population was wiped out by the 1980s due to poaching and civil conflict. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary was established to reintroduce and breed southern white rhino in a secured, monitored environment, with the eventual goal of returning rhino to Uganda's national parks. It's currently the only place in the country to see this species.

Getting There
Tour Start & End
This tour starts in Entebbe and ends in Entebbe.
Airport Information
Kilimanjaro International Airport and Arusha Airport are the most common arrival points for northern Tanzania safaris.
Transfer Information
Most travelers fly into Entebbe International Airport (EBB), roughly an hour from Entebbe, where the tour begins after a hotel pickup.
